Light in the Faroe Islands works in its own ways. It breaks through when it wants, for as long as it wants, and then it is gone. This is one of those moments — Streymnes village on Streymoy island, caught in a window of evening light that lasted just long enough. Moments like this feel like gold.

This printed photo is made by me from start to finish. From scouting and exploring the landscape, to being out there photographing the scene, editing the image, printing, cutting, packing, and shipping, the whole process stays in my hands. What arrives at your home is authentic and original photography work.

Prints are unsigned by default. Choose “Add hand signature” and I will gladly sign your print by hand in the bottom-right corner. Since most of my photographs have darker tones, I use a subtle light-grey marker so the signature stays clean, discreet, and elegant.
